I love my visits to cafe V Always a relaxing cosy atmosphere, and brilliant service. They cater for gluten intolerance and other intolerances and allergies. Which is great for me, as I get to enjoy cake. Great prices, and lovely staff too Highly recommend!

Great menu and well trained staff. I am Gluten Free and we had visited two places before here but did not feel confident enough to stay. It is table service and I asked about GF options and it was obvious they knew their stuff. I had eggs benedict and my partner a breakfast. Quality produce and efficient service. We will be back next week.

Very nice cafe. Great table service, very nice staff. Took care of our dog as well as our food and drink orders. The food was freshly prepared and tasty. There was some outdoor seating that was nice in the sun. Just out of the main square so felt a bit quieter but with easy access.

Visited this little café whilst in Beverley for a few hours on a Sunday, it was a pretty busy day when we visited as there was a 10k run taking place! Despite that we visited this café to grab some breakfast and we got a seat straight away. The place looked popular as there were people sat inside and outside the premises. The café looked well presented, clean and a nice selection on the menu. My husband and I both opted for poached eggs on toast, with a choice of white or brown bread. I opted for white bread and you got two slices with two poached eggs plus some lovely lurpak butter. I also had a glass of orange juice and my husband had a latte. The waitress was friendly who took our order and we were given the option to pay straight away before our food and drinks arrived. We were happy to do so as it meant we could leave as soon as we’d finished. The food was nice, nothing too fancy as it was just eggs on toast. The drinks were okay too, my husband said he enjoyed his latte. Perhaps it was ever so slightly over priced as you could probably get the same for less at a local Wetherspoons however it’s good to support local independent businesses. Would recommend and would be nice to try some other options on their menu.

On a cool but sunny Sunday morning Cafe V was doing a roaring trade with lots of customers inside and also at the tables outside. It was lovely inside with lots of tables for two and nicely decorated with a variety of artwork. So much choice in the cake cabinets! My husband had a slice of what has to be the largest custard ever made! In theory I wasn’t having any cake myself but I ended up helping my husband to eat his custard… Pleasant and efficient staff; will be back!

For me, this is the place to go and have a lovely English Breakfast with a capital B, since here, breakfast is cooked marvellously well, like I imagine it would be done at home on a Sunday morning, with top ingredients and gentle cooking to preserve taste and make you want more! Food is not fat or cooked in fat or grease, which is good for digestion too. Thoroughly enjoyable!

The food was great, and the lady who served me was very polite and took the time to have a chat not just about food or drinks, which made it feel really welcoming. All round, a lovely vibe and a place I’d definitely come back to. I’d definitely recommend the eggs Benedict!
